Join the Leavenworth Mountain Association (LMA) for their 2nd Annual Icicle Canyon Cleanup on Saturday, April 26th. Outdoor enthusiasts of all ages are encouraged to take part. Don’t miss out on your chance to give back to this awe inspiring outdoor playground.
Participants will be dispersed to various parts of the Icicle Canyon area to pick up trash and debris. Pack gloves, water, snacks, warm layers and sunscreen. Be prepared for alpine weather. LMA will provide garbage bags, maps of the area, beverages and a hotdog cookout afterwards. They’ll be awarding prizes for categories such as the “oldest” and “most unique” trash items. Sponsors will provide gear demos and have donated some great raffle items, and the US Forest Service will lead a Leave No Trace Seminar. Meet at noon at the Forest Land Parking Lot, 5.7 miles up Icicle Road.
