The trail is steep but the views at the top are well worth the hike. Fourth of July trail is approximately 10 1/2 miles and tops out at 7000 feet in elevation.
Andy reported a time of 3 hours and 47 minutes from trailhead to top. Because the trail is exposed in places and south facing, it’s a great one to hit up early in the morning. Bring lots of water and enjoy the 360 degree panorama from the top of Icicle Ridge!
