While we try to stick to local news and events and as much of the fun stuff as possible, we know that many of our users are saddened by the news that Sarah Burke has passed away in a Utah hospital as a result of injuries from a fall she took on Tuesday, January 10th, 2012.  Sarah was not only a talented athlete but also a role model, especially to female skiers because she helped to pave the way for future generations of women to compete and proved that women can ride just as hard as men.  The video below showcases some of her talent.  RIP Sarah Burke.
