Apple Blossom Festival may be much quieter now than it was in the past, when thousands of people flocked to the city for cruising on the Ave, but the many family friendly activities continue and organizers expect over 100,000 spectators.
The two week long festival will be culminating this weekend with the Grande Parade, the Classy Chisses Parade & Car Show, the Annual Arts & Crafts Fair, the Food Court with live music at Memorial Park, the annual Apple Blossom Run, a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament and more.
Kids will especially enjoy a trip to the carnival at Riverfront park and a ride on the miniature train. Originally built and located in a Peshastin orchard by Nile Saunders, the train runs on a 10 inch gauge track at Riverfront Park.
