So I got this fancy new Nikon D4 a couple weeks ago and have been shooting as much as I can to learn all about it. I have to say that after a couple weeks with it, I am amazed. I can’t find any flaws, it is just a brilliant machine. It’s perfect for me since a ton of my shooting is fast action sports and it offers 11 frames per second and has like a 90 shot buffer. Basically, you don’t miss anything with latitude like that. Another aspect is the high iso capabilities of this machine are ridiculous. It just plain shoots in the dark and offers you exceptional image quality. Speaking of shooting in the dark it also auto-focuses in the dark. I don’t know how you make a better camera. Plus it shoots video. Stop it! I love this camera!
So anyway I was looking to test a different aspect of this machine and thought the highest building in Wenatchee would do for a fashion shoot. The Cascadian Building has a long history as construction on it started in 1928 I believe. It’s walls are built of concrete and the views from the roof are awesome! So I called up Wenatchee’s very own super model Stevie Dawn to see if she wanted to collaborate on some new imagery and she was kind enough to oblige. You can see Stevie’s modeling portfolio here. Here are a few rooftop shots along with some from the interior of the super cool Cascadian Building.
