The temperatures are rising, the sun is shining, the orchards are blooming, and the wildflowers are displaying their magnificent colors. In the Bavarian-themed mountain town of Leavenworth, WA we celebrate the arrival of Spring with the annual Maifest celebration that lasts all weekend long starting this Friday afternoon.

Join the fun on Front St. and browse local arts and crafts during Village Art in the Park, listen to live traditional German music at the Gazebo, and watch the “Festzug” “(or Grand March) on Saturday, as well as the traditional Maibaum Dance where dancers weave colorful ribbons around the maipole in the center of town.  This is one of Leavenworth’s most popular annual festivals featuring fun for the entire family including bouncy houses and a climbing wall just for the kids!
