There’s a once in a lifetime shot and then there’s a once in two years shot. It took me two years of failing to get this two minutes of Chinook salmon cruising the cloudy depths. There’s not too much to say really, except take the time out of your day to watch two minutes of the most magnificent fish on the continent, our own Wenatchee River’s Chinook Salmon.
As an aside, I posted a rough draft of the video without telling anybody so my parents could watch it, expecting to revise the draft for today’s feature. After doing so, we hit the road to the North Fork of the Skykomish River valley to escape the smoke. We came home to find that the rough cut had almost 600 views… So much for the final edit!
