Get ready to get dirty.  Crews are hard at work setting up the obstacles for Saturday’s Bavarian Battle Race at Leavenworth’s Ski Hill.  Featuring 5k of running and 15 obstacles, the race promises to be action packed.  Registration and race packet pickup runs from 8:00 to 3:00 pm and race heats start every 20 minutes.

For competitors and non-competitors alike, there will be live music, food and beer with the festivities continuing until 7:00 pm at night.  And yes-there will be a costume contest.  We’ve already heard reports of Carhart lederhosen and rainbow unicorns so the competition will be stiff.  If you haven’t gotten your duds together yet, now is the time.
