An annual tradition in Leavenworth, Bavarian IceFest 2012 kicked off with a slurry of events, including snow sculptures, relays, tug o war, dog sled rides, smooshing, and more.   The day was also greeted with a much welcomed storm cycle, turning the town of Leavenworth into one giant snowglobe.
