Coffee: the fuel that really drives the world-especially in the Pacific Northwest. Fresh ground, french pressed, dark and gritty goodness is how we like it here at Icicle TV headquarters. We live in an agricultural hot bed, but coffee production resides in faraway tropical lands along the equatorial zones-exotic locales such as Costa Rica, Brazil, and Indonesia.
While we sip our fair trade Sumatra brew, we wonder where this stuff really comes from and…what kind of magic does it take to go from a shiny red bean growing on a bush to the hearty brew that is coffee. Local filmmaker Charley Voorhis traveled to El Salvador and filmed the people and the process for Olympia Coffee Company.
