Icicle TV’s Shane Wilder and Russ Ricketts headed out to Icicle River Middle School‘s 6th grade camp at Tall Timber Ranch to teach the kids a little bit about film making.  Set in a pristine mountain valley against the backdrop of the Napeequa Valley, the camp is a wonderful opportunity for Cascade School district kids to get out in nature and have an overnight camp experience.

Each student had a short interview about their favorite aspect of camp and all of the footage except the interviews was shot by the students. We also showed them the post production side and the editing suite. This little movie was shot with point and shoot cameras which shows kids that you don’t need fancy equipment to make a cool little movie. See you at next years Outdoor Camp!
