Ice Fest kicks off tomorrow with a snow sculpture competition, followed by dog sled rides, an ice carving demonstration, a smooshing race, tug of war, and more! Events are held downtown in Leavenworth on Front Street and at Blackbird Island.

Activities continue on Sunday with the Rail Jam, and a viewing of the movie Community at the Festhalle, sponsored by Stevens Pass Mountain Resort. Sunday evening also features the not to be missed annual fireworks display. Fireworks are shot off over the river and can be viewed from many prime locations in downtown Leavenworth, including the park on Front Street.
