Peshastin Pinnacles State Park, located just off of Highway 2 near the town of Dryden, is open for the season and offers many opportunities for recreation. The Pinnacle’s sandstone spires and slabs are probably best known as a cool weather haven for rock climbers, but the park is also a great place to have a picnic or go for a hike. Peshastin Pinnacles is open from 6:30 am to dusk and you will need a Discover Pass. If you go in the next week or two, the pear orchards below should be in full bloom, affording viewers with a stunning display from above.
