The holiday season is here and children are counting down the days until Santa comes to visit. We consulted with the North Pole’s PR department and they delivered a list of some of the places Santa will be visiting the Wenatchee valley this holiday season.
Leavenworth- Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting with all the good kids during all three weekends of Christmas Lighting Festival. The jolly couple will make a grand appearance and then walk the streets to pose for photos and spread holiday cheer. Father Christmas, straight from the old country, will be handing out fruit to children during Friday night’s Christmas Lighting festival. His beautiful costume is quite a bit different than Santa’s red and white, but you will still find a certain twinkle in his eye! We love Father Christmas and appreciate his visit every year. Santa will also be hitting the slopes up at Leavenworth Winter Sports Club’s Ski Hill on Saturday Dec. 21st Kids who love the snow will be glad to get in a last minute. There is no charge to get your photo with Santa, but you will need to buy a lift ticket to ski or tube.
Farther down the valley in Cashmere, Santa will be posing for photos at Martins Market on Saturday Dec 14th during the day. Exact times and prices for a photo with Santa are TDB.
Owl Soda Fountain and Gifts in Wenatchee will be hosting the big man this Saturday and Sunday from 12-4. A photo with Santa costs $15.00 and includes a special Santa Sunday!
Santa’s arrival at the Pybus Public Market via his shiny red helicopter caused a pretty big stir earlier in the month. If you missed the chance to tell St. Nick what you want under the tree, you can still visit with him every weekend from 2-4 pm until Christmas.
Finally, The Wenatchee Valley Mall in East Wenatchee has Santa visiting every day this month until Christmas. Times vary somewhat, so here is the schedule. Prices vary depending on the photo package you choose.
