Pybus Public Market was recently awarded “Best Farmer’s Market” in King5 ‘s Best Northwest Escapes contest and it’s amazing to see how far this site and idea have come. Icicle TV did an interview with then Executive Director Steve Robinson, about the work that was being done to the old Pybus Steel Co. building and the visions of project leaders whose hopes were high and dreams were grand. Watch the interview and construction tour video below shot in early 2013 as the Pybus Public Market was taking shape.

Having just celebrated its two-year anniversary, the market is now hustling and bustling 7 days a week with everything the visionaries imagined, and more. With shops offering fresh meats, seafood, cheeses, sweets, produce, breads, and all sorts of handmade and homemade goods, restaurants and patio bars, and live music and other performances on a weekly basis, Pybus Public Market has become a cornerstone of the community in Wenatchee. Located right along the Apple Capital Loop Trail, it’s in a beautiful spot looking out over the river, easily accessed by car, bike, foot, or board.
Voortex Productions, based in Wenatchee, WA, just released a brand new short film highlighting how special the old steel building has become.
“At the end of the day, what’s left is a sense of connection.”
This is Pybus Public Market.
