Bonneville Dam is reporting a tremendous surge in returning Chinook salmon, with over 530,000 fish making the journey upstream to the upper Columbia river tributaries. These monster fish are going to spawn right here in town, popular spawning salmon viewing areas include upper Blackbird Island and the Upper Tumwater Canyon.

Icicle TV spoke to an unnamed source that reported catching several fish since the opening, including one that qualifies as his “largest fish ever” but you know you can’t believe every fish story you hear…  Such are the tales of fish and men.  For details go to: WDFW
