The Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Marketing and Communication Coordinator

Job profile:

The Marketing and Communication Coordinator will provide leadership, vision, and results in directing the organization’s overall marketing and communication strategic planning efforts. This position will be responsible for:

• Assisting in creating marketing campaigns, guiding marketing strategies, and tracking measurable results related to tourism promotional efforts.

• Assisting on managing budgets

• Assisting in negotiating advertising opportunities and building strong relationships within the Wenatchee Valley and in key markets

• Utilizing print, web, and social media strategies to implement comprehensive marketing plans

The right candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional organizational and time management skills, be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, be customer service oriented, and be able to work as part of an internal and external team.

Qualifications:

Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related area, and a minimum of three years’ experience managing proposal efforts and marketing strategy/promotions in the business tourism industry. Strong customer service skills are mandatory. Event planning experience is a plus. Demonstrated proficiency with web-based tools and applications, including Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat are preferred.
