The 7th annual 2012 Professor Paddle Ball will be held on the Wenatchee River June 9th and 10th. Professor Paddle, an online whitewater community, hosts the Ball annually and the organizers tell us that individual events this year will include the race, rodeo, Big Air Ramp and of course Operation Applets and Cotlets (a midnight adventure chasing glowsticks!!)
For those new to the event, the Ball is all about having fun as a community, building relationships, enjoying and learning about the rivers around this area and building skills to navigate them. Event attendance averages about 200 people but some years have seen up to 350 participants, with people coming from all over the country and even as far away as New Zealand, England, Germany, Africa and other Euro zones. More information can be found at professorpaddle.com.
