The Young Artist Theater Camp at Icicle Creek Center for the Arts wrapped up it’s 2012 program with a performance of student written plays on Saturday at Icicle Creek’s Canyon Wren Recital Hall. The final shows included “The Trial of The Wolf and The Three Little Pigs” by Finnley Kafer and “The Great Invasion: A Play about Beatlemania” by Emma McIntosh.

Kids aged 7 to 20 participated in the week long theater camp, filled with classes in acting, playwriting, directing, dance, musical theatre led by faculty from around the country, along with activities including hiking, horseback riding, and picnic lunches. The Young Artist Theater Camp is an excellent way for kids to come together in a creative and supportive environment in the most beautiful of settings-right at the base of Icicle Canyon in Leavenworth, Washington.
