#TBT to August 2013, when Icicle TV joined two local kayakers for a full moon night run through the Chaos Rapid section of the Wenatchee River in Tumwater Canyon just outside of Leavenworth, WA. Covered in glow bracelets, a long exposure caught their colorful light trails making for an interesting image.

Following the rowdy descent, we captured the serene image show below. Due to all the light from the full moon, all the details from the rocky banks and surrounding trees came through really well. Summer nights along the river’s edge have produced some of the most peaceful times we’ve ever experienced in this gorgeous valley. Where’s your favorite place to find peace?
