My what a difference a couple of days can make. Washington State DOT is reporting a mix of snow and rain on highway 2. Stevens Pass is closed in both directions and the town of Leavenworth is coated in a sheet of ice due to freezing rain. While we scrape the ice crust from our cars and await word from the DOT on a possible re-opening of the pass, enjoy this photo from Monday, January 23rd. Adam McKenney shreds the pow on a sunny day.
